Several large pension companies are ready with large billions of investments in green transition in, for example, energy islands and offshore wind farms, but right now the pension companies cannot be allowed to invest in the green projects, writes Politiken.
For example, the energy islands require huge investments to be realized, but as it is now, only the state-owned Energinet can own the electricity cables at sea, says the criticism. There is a need to advance the large-scale projects and open up private financing, the pension companies urge.
- The health crisis has had top priority in the government's work. This does not mean that work on the green transition has come to a standstill. But the order must be right. First we have handled the health crisis and focused on keeping the economy afloat, now we are starting to recover, responds Climate Minister Dan Jørgensen (S) in a written comment.
