Ørsted has been forced to postpone the planned completion of the Skipjack offshore farm due to delayed permits, writes 4C Offshore.
The Skipjack farm, located off the Maryland-Delaware on the US east coast, is now expected to be completed in late 2023 instead of late 2022.
Ørsted is working with US-based Eversource on Skipjack, which will consist of ten GE Haliade-X 12 MW wind turbine models, which earlier this year set a record for the most energy produced by a single turbine in a day with 288 MWh.
