After being some of the high jumpers on the stock market in 2020, it has been a different story for Ørsted and Vestas, two of the largest Danish companies within the green transition in Denmark, in 2021.

Thus, the companies can look back on 2021 and note significant declines. Ørsted has thus lost 33 percent over the year and ended the year at a price of 825.20, while Vestas has plunged 32.5 percent to a price of 200.

The two companies thus stood out negatively in the C25 index, which otherwise ended with a growth of 17.6 percent for the year. The growth was particularly driven by the Mærs share, which has been the place with 72 percent in the past year.
