KK Wind Solutions gets new CEO

KK Wind Solutions' parent company KK Group will have a new CEO, Mauricio Quintana, who will join in the first quarter of next year, after Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen has decided to step down.

After nine years in KK Group, the parent company of KK Wind Solutions, of which almost half as CEO, Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen has chosen to leave the company and instead continue as an advisor to KK Wind Solutions owner A.P. Møller Holding. This was announced by KK Group in a press release.

To find a replacement, they have looked abroad, and the choice has fallen on Costa Rican Mauricio Quintana, who has more than 30 years of industry experience, most recently from a position as Group Senior Vice President and Global Head of Service in the Power Grids Division at ABB.

- Mauricio is an extremely competent business leader with a good customer focus and an ability to build high-performing and committed teams. He has a global mindset, strong values ​​and the right profile and personality to lead KK Group into a new era of continued geographical expansion and growth, especially in Asia, while strengthening KK Group's position in the renewable energy value chain, says Jan Thorsgaard Nielsen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KK Group and Investment Director of AP Møller Holding, about the new CEO and continues about the old one:

- Chlinton has done a great job developing the team and the company, and I am very pleased that AP Møller Holding can continue the collaboration with Chlinton in his capacity as an advisor.

Chlinton Arendahl Nielsen will continue in the company during a transitional period before the change of CEO officially takes effect during the first quarter of 2022.
