Vestas has been assigned a Baa1 rating by the American rating agency Moody's Investors Service. Vestas announced this in a press release.
The rating is Moody's eighth highest long-term credit rating. Bonds classified with Baa1 are subject to moderate credit risk.
- The expectation of continued growth combined with expansion in the offshore segment supports continued revenue growth and higher margin levels going forward, Moody's said of the rating of Vestas.
According to Vestas, the expectation that Vestas, with its leading market position in the wind power industry, will be able to benefit from the global fight to reduce CO2 emissions has been a driving force behind Moody's decision to assign a Baa1 rating.
According to Vestas, the assessment from Moody's may open doors to new attractive sources of financing.
