The helicopter company NHV, which has its roots in the now closed Dancopter, was previously the leading helicopter operator between Esbjerg Airport and the oil and gas fields in the Danish part of the North Sea. However, that status may be on the way to a comeback, in any case, NHV has secured a contract extension for a three-digit million amount with Ineos for helicopter transport to the Syd Arne and Siri fields in the North Sea in the period July 1, 2024 to 2027. This is reported by JydskeVestkysten.
- We are pleased that NHV has successfully secured a contract extension with Ineos Denmark. This expansion represents a remarkable milestone in our long-standing partnership with Ineos Denmark, further reinforcing NHV's steadfast dedication to providing exceptional helicopter transport services in the Danish part of the North Sea since our collaboration began in 2017, says Andy Dethlefsen, Accountable Manager, NHV in Esbjerg.
According to Andy Dethlefsen, NHV hopes to make its mark in the even larger helicopter contract tender that TotalEnergies is launching later this year. Here, the company hopes to at least maintain the current flights for TotalEnergies in Denmark. Currently, NHV has approximately a third of the flights for TotalEnergies, while Bel Air has the rest.
