Five of Ørsted's offshore projects in the US are at risk of being delayed because the corona crisis is delaying a number of permits, writes Green Tech Media.
Ørsted already stated on Wednesday that Skipjack in Maryland and South Fork in New York would most likely be postponed because they had been affected by delayed permits.
However, this now also appears to be a problem for Revolution Wind off Rhode Island and Connecticut, Sunrise Wind in New York and Ocean Wind off New Jersey, which now face an increasing risk of being delayed. The five projects have a combined capacity of just over 3 GW.
