Energinet has received more than 800 inquiries from citizens and interest groups about the project New Aarhus-Aabenraa electricity network, which will expand the electricity network's motorways in Jutland with a new and more powerful 400 kV overhead line connection between Aabenraa and Aarhus.

Over 350 of the inquiries contain specific proposals for changing the location of the facilities.

- I would like to thank the many people who have taken the time to send us comments. We know that many people will be affected by the project, and we are pleased with the input we have received. We will now review all comments and see to what extent we can meet the wishes that have been received, says project director Søren Damsgaard Mikkelsen.

It is stated that an overview of the many comments has already begun.

Some comments are general about the project, while others deal with specific conditions on individual properties. A large part of the comments concern Energinet's proposals for the location of overhead lines and buried cables as well as stations.

The processing of the comments will continue throughout the autumn of 2025. Energinet will publish an overview of the most important topics and responses, along with a presentation of the revised location of the facilities, which is expected in early 2026.
