Svanehøj is expanding its service business in the Netherlands with the acquisition of H&K Services B.V., which services gas and chemical tankers in the Benelux region. Svanehøj announced this in a press release.

H&K Services works with maintenance and repair of gas pumps and measurement systems. The company will be integrated into Svanehoj EPS, which Svanehøj established after the acquisition of European Pump Services B.V. in January 2025.

The acquisition will, among other things, strengthen Svanehøj's presence in Rotterdam's Europoort area and add competencies within liquefied gas equipment. H&K Services has a workshop in Stellendam, while Svanehoj EPS is already based in Oud Gastel.

- Svanehoj EPS already constitutes a strong platform for us in the Benelux region within both new sales and service. However, we have lacked the gas competences that we can offer from our other service sites in Denmark, Singapore and Dubai. The acquisition of H&K Services therefore improves our opportunities to service gas customers locally in Rotterdam, says Søren Kringelholt Nielsen, CEO of Svanehøj.

H&K Services was established in 2013 by John Huizer, who will continue as Technical Manager under the new ownership. Co-owner Bert De Korte is stepping down to retire.

The company's five service technicians will continue at Svanehoj EPS under the leadership of Managing Director Frank Hansen. After the acquisition, Svanehoj EPS has around 40 employees distributed across the locations in Oud Gastel and Stellendam.
