Svanehøj has invested heavily in its service business in recent years through the acquisition of FORCE Technology Marine Equipment Service and Wärtsilä Tank Control Systems as well as the establishment of a large service center in Singapore.

Now the Danish specialist in marine pumps and tank measurement systems is taking another step in its growth strategy. This is done through the acquisition of Complete Cryogenic Services (CCS) in Tustin, California, which has more than 30 years of experience in the service and repair of electric, submersible pumps on LNG tankers, Svanehøj states in a statement.

- CCS is a recognized name in the market and will strengthen us in our ambition to become the leading supplier in the service of pumps and critical equipment in the LNG segment. At the same time, the acquisition is an investment in knowledge and know-how. We are adding a number of specialists who will be a great asset to us in our development of new products and services, says CEO of Svanehøj, Søren Kringelholt Nielsen.

With the acquisition of CCS, Svanehøj's service business is now firmly based on three continents with a total of almost 100 employees. That is almost a tenfold increase in just four years.

- We have invested significantly in our service business to be close to customers with local service people all over the world. Today, Svanehøj is by far the largest service provider for gas vessels and can offer a single comprehensive solution with service of pumps, compressors, valves and instrumentation on both LNG and LPG vessels, says Director of Service and Aftersales at Svanehøj, Morten Christian Larsen.

CCS will continue as an independent unit under Svanehøj Service Solutions and will be named "Svanehøj CCS – Complete Cryogenic Services".

After the latest acquisition, Svanehøj employs approximately 320 people and has activities in Denmark, the UK, France, the USA, Singapore, Japan and China.
