The Capital Region's Water Supply Company Hofor has chosen to increase security at its water and wastewater areas in the wake of drone activity in several places in Denmark. The company writes this in an email to CleantechWatch.
"The first measures were implemented over the weekend. We cannot comment on the details of our preparedness," writes Hofor's press service.
According to the media outlet, it is not clear from the email response whether it is drone incidents close to the utility's activities or whether it is the general increased security threat that has prompted the utility to introduce extra security measures.
