The 55-year-old Jacob Spangenberg joins the management team at DCC Energi with more than 25 years of broad commercial experience.

He most recently came from a position as commercial director at Lederne, where he headed the business for five years. Prior to that, he spent a number of years at Alka Forsikring - first as deputy director responsible for sales and marketing and then, from 2016, as director of the areas commercial, private and non-life.

At DCC Energi, Jacob Spangenberg, as the new sales director for the commercial market, will be responsible for a comprehensive business. The commercial area today spans both the classic energy solutions for agriculture, companies and public customers as well as a rapidly growing portfolio of low-emission alternatives such as HVO, biogas, heat pumps, electricity sales and charging solutions for businesses.

- The energy industry is central to the transformation towards a more sustainable future that the whole of society must go through. At DCC Energi, I have an exciting opportunity to bring my experience and commercial perspective to bear on an active player in the energy transition that offers energy solutions for all customer needs, says Jacob Spangsberg.

Especially solutions within electrification are an area that DCC Energi prioritizes with charging solutions, heat pumps and most recently with the launch of electricity sales earlier this year.
