Evida has a new CFO in the form of Pernille Egelund, who comes from a position as Head of Financial and Facility Management at JN Data A/S, where she has been employed since 2020. In addition, she has held a number of senior positions within finance at TDC for 15 years. This is stated by Evida in a press release.
It comes as a surprise that Evida has been looking for a new CFO since the last CFO Simon Scheibel took up the position in June last year.
But in fact, Evida has been looking for a new CFO since January, when the collaboration with Scheibel, who came from a senior position at Novo Nordisk, already ended. This is stated by Evida in an email response to DOI.dk when asked about the reason for the change of CFO at Evida.
"Evida can inform you that Simon Scheibel resigned in January 2024. Evida identified a new strategic direction, and in this connection there was an agreement to part ways," is the concise response from the state-owned company.
But it is experienced forces in the form of Pernille Engelund who will now implement the new strategic direction.

This places great demands on the entire financial and economic setup in the Evida group, and at the same time, like all other large companies, we are facing increased requirements for reporting in the area of sustainability, says Kim Søgård Bering Kristensen, CEO of Evida.
For Pernille Engelund, the move to Evida is an opportunity to combine financial and strategic experience with a green approach.
