EIFO was created on the basis of the merger of three state funds, the Danish Growth Fund, EKF Denmark's Export Credit Agency and the Danish Green Investment Fund. As a result of the merger, EIFO announced in February that it had decided to make an organizational change, which led to a farewell to several top managers, as the group management was reduced by two members.
After the organizational changes, however, it was still not possible to fill two positions as CFO and CCO SME. However, that search can now be called off.
EIFO has now recruited its new head of the SME area from Sund&Bælt Holding in the form of Signe Thustrup-Kreiner. In Sund&Bælt she was CFO, but in EIFO she will become Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and she will also be part of EIFO's group management.
- Signe has solid experience from the financial sector and has worked at Arbejdernes Landsbank and Danske Bank, among others. At the same time, she has experience working in both complex organizations and public authorities, and she therefore has a good understanding of the political context in which EIFO works. Signe also has good experience with board work, which provides a strong background in terms of bringing EIFO and SME to the next important steps forward, and we look forward to welcoming her in the autumn, says CEO of EIFO, Peder Lundquist, in a press release.
Signe Thustrup-Kreiner will join EIFO on November 1, 2024, and is looking forward to the new challenges.
- I am very much looking forward to leading and developing the SME area in EIFO and to helping to ensure that Danish companies can reach as far as possible both nationally and internationally. Being part of the team at EIFO, which focuses on everything that makes a difference, will not only be exciting, but also very relevant, says Signe Thustrup-Kreiner.
The vacant position as CFO has also been filled. EIFO expects to be able to announce more later in the summer. However, it is revealed that it is a woman who will also be part of the group management.
- With the two new female directors, the group management of EIFO is in place. We will have two brilliantly talented profiles on board who will contribute to EIFO's work both professionally and managerially. I look forward to welcoming them both, says Peder Lundquist.
