Vestas has received an order for 50 MW in Germany. The order is included in the company's order intake for the second quarter of 2026, the wind turbine manufacturer announced in a statement.
The order includes seven V172-7.2 MW turbines for a project where both the customer and the project name are unnamed. The agreement also includes a 20-year AOM 4000 service agreement.
Delivery is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027, while commissioning is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027.
