Vestas has won a 186 MW order from EDF power solutions North America to supply 30 wind turbines for the Forêt Domaniale project in Quebec, Canada. Vestas announced this in a press release.

The order is the third between the parties in Quebec within the past year. In 2025, they entered into agreements for, among others, the 275 MW Madawaska project and the 124 MW Haute-Chaudière project. In total, the collaboration thus amounts to almost 600 MW in the province.

- Forêt Domaniale represents our third project with EDF power solutions North America in Quebec within the past year, underscoring the strength of our collaboration and the impact that technology and a strong supply chain can deliver, says Laura Beane, President of Vestas North America.

The new order also includes a 10-year service agreement. According to Vestas, the project will provide electricity to tens of thousands of households and contribute to local employment. Delivery of the wind turbines is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027, while commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of the same year.

As part of the project, Vestas and EDF are collaborating with the manufacturer Marmen, which is expected to support around 150 direct jobs in Quebec.
