As one of the first electricity companies in Denmark, Verdo now gives customers the opportunity to freely choose how they want to pay their electricity bill. The energy crisis has led customers across the country to call for settlement based on actual consumption in order to avoid high on-account bills. This message has been heard by Verdo, which now offers all private electricity customers the freedom to choose how they want to pay for their consumption, the company states in a statement.
- Over the past few months, there has been a very clear desire from customers to be able to pay based on actual consumption. We are of course listening to that. Since we know that there are also customers who want to continue paying on-account, it has been important for us to give customers the opportunity to choose for themselves, says Henrik Bach Pedersen, Sales and Customer Manager at Verdo.
With the free choice, all of Verdo's private electricity customers can now choose whether they want to pay on-account every three months or retrospective settlement based on actual consumption every month. Henrik Bach Pedersen believes that the increasing demand will eventually lead more electricity companies to offer similar flexible customer terms.
