The three nominees

DOT A/S
DOT is nominated for make their production equipment, a zinc pot, available for consumption flexibility in the electricity grid. During periods when Denmark has less electricity available, DOT can adjust their electricity consumption downwards to create more space in the electricity grid. DOT is the first production company to be connected to the Flex Platform and has experimented with offering consumption flexibility at the core of their production. They are showing the way for other production companies that want to contribute to the green transition in a future with more fluctuating energy and increased need for consumer flexibility.

GreenLab Skive
GreenLab Skive has been nominated for the Green Power Award for creating an industrial park where industrial production and energy systems are integrated. They have broken down "energy silos" and shown how production and energy infrastructure can be connected in an innovative and green way. GreenLab Skive focuses on tomorrow's needs and is an important test site for new technologies and the development of green hydrogen. GreenLab Skive shows how an industrial park can be an important piece in the green transition and contribute to tomorrow's energy system.

HySynergy
HySynergy is nominated for their innovative project to establish Europe's largest hydrogen factory with an expected daily production of 8 tons in the first half of 2023. The project supports electrification through electrolysis plants and liquid fuels in sectors where electrification is not immediately possible. The decision to establish the project has required courage and foresight. With the Power-to-X project, HySynergy makes it possible to convert renewable energy from solar and wind into green hydrogen. This paves the way for Denmark to become a pioneer in the development of the green fuels of the future.
