A successful test of Seasight Solutions’ Autonomous Positioning System (APS), which demonstrated the system’s ability to optimize workflow and improve safety during wind turbine installation, has led to German Enercon placing an order for 15 units. This is stated by Seasight Solutions in a press release.

The new partnership represents an important milestone and strengthens the collaboration between Seasight Solutions and Enercon.

- It has been a great pleasure to work with Seasight Solutions on this project, and we look forward to the continued collaboration, says Regional Category Manager at Enercon, Marco Hinrichs.

The Autonomous Positioning System (APS) was developed by Seasight Solutions and is an advanced multifunctional tool designed to improve safety and efficiency during lifting operations, for example during the installation of wind turbine blades and other large components.

Unlike traditional handheld taglines, the APS allows for precise installation and control of even the largest components while they are suspended in the air.

- I am proud to announce this milestone – the sale of 15 state-of-the-art Autonomous Positioning Systems to Enercon, a pioneer in the wind industry. The order not only underlines the value of the technology we offer, but also confirms our vision to deliver solutions that enhance the safety of wind farms worldwide, says Anders Karlsson, Head of Sales at Seasight Solutions.
