Norlys has hired Kathrine Forsberg as the new director of the energy and telecommunications group's customer business. She will take up the position on March 15, 2025. The energy and telecommunications group announced this in a press release.
Norlys' customer business delivers mobile, internet, TV and streaming, energy and charging solutions to private and business customers. Kathrine Forsberg comes from a position as CEO of the Danish part of the IT company Atea and has previously held leading roles in TDC Erhverv, NetDesign and Cisco.
- I have come to know the Norlys group as a company that manages to combine an ambitious business strategy with a clear social responsibility, which is anchored in the group's share ownership. Norlys' customer business has grown a lot in recent years, most recently with the takeover of Telia Danmark, and my task will first and foremost be to create the foundation for us to turn the breadth of our business into a real competitive advantage, says Kathrine Forsberg.
She replaces Ulf Lund, who has been part of the Norlys Group Management since 2019 and interim Director of the Customer Business since September. Ulf Lund has chosen to take the opportunity to pursue other opportunities outside of Norlys, but will continue as an advisor and board member in Norlys' Customer Business.
- Both Norlys and I personally owe Ulf a big thank you for handling a difficult task in an exemplary manner. He has created a common focus and new momentum in the entire customer business in record time. It is of course up to Kathrine to set her own course, but Ulf's continued connection to the group also ensures important continuity, says Gert Vinther Jørgensen.
