Nordex Group has received an order for a total of 56 MW from Bürgerwindpark BHU Betriebs GmbH & Co. KG for a wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein in northern Germany, which the name of the client indicates is a citizen-owned project. The order includes the delivery of eight N163/6.X wind turbines, each mounted on 118-meter-high steel towers and to be erected in three villages in North Frisia. This is reported by Nordex Group.
The agreement also includes a 20-year Premium Service agreement, which is to ensure high technical availability of the turbines over time. The installation is planned for the beginning of 2027, while the final commissioning is expected to be completed in the autumn of the same year. The wind turbines will be operated in 7 MW mode to optimally utilize the good wind conditions in the area.
