Green Power Denmark has long worked for a much-needed upgrade of the road to relieve the neighbors and strengthen development opportunities for local jobs in Central Denmark.
Therefore, the organization also believes that the 250 million DKK for upgrading Denmark's road network for special transport is of decisive importance for companies and thousands of jobs.
- We have warned for several years that the road to the Port of Esbjerg will at some point become too small, and now we are close to the limit. It is excellent for companies and the many employees that money has been found politically to upgrade the road, says Kristian Jensen, CEO of Green Power Denmark.
Although this is a relatively small construction project compared to many other road projects around the country, the agreement still has great importance for the competitiveness of companies, local employment and Denmark's ability to retain and attract investments and jobs.
- The Danish wind turbine industry is in a very tough global competitive situation. Other countries offer various forms of financial support to the companies in their country. We have simply asked that the infrastructure follows the development and is ready when needed, so that the goods the companies produce can reach the customers, says Kristian Jensen.
