Energi Danmark, like many other energy traders, achieved a record profit in 2022. In the case of Energi Danmark, it amounted to 11.3 billion. DKK. Yet the company's director of almost 24 years, Jørgen Holm Westergaard, left the company in February, without the reason being disclosed.
Shortly afterwards, however, Finans revealed that three employees in the company had earned bonuses of 250 and 300 million. DKK per person. The three newly fired employees have taken Energi Danmark to court to get their bonuses paid. The employees' claims amount to over 900 million DKK
