EUDP ready with new funds in 2022

In 2022, it will also be possible to apply for funding for the development, demonstration and testing of energy technology solutions through the national support programs EUDP (The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Program) and Green Labs DK. The board of the programs has just opened for applicants for the next round, which has a deadline for project applicants on March 4, 2022, writes EUDP in a press release.

- We know that new climate technologies will deliver a significant part of the CO2 reduction of 70 percent that we in Denmark must achieve by 2030. Therefore, we hope to see a large number of innovative applications in 2022, so that we extend the interest in green innovation that we saw in 2021, when the interest in applying for EUDP support was historically high, says Anne Grete Holmsgaard, chairman of the board of EUDP.

EUDP's award pool is DKK 200 million. kr next year. The Green Labs DK pool is 17.5 million. kr and is targeted at establishing facilities where companies can demonstrate and test new climate technologies under realistic circumstances. In addition, the North Sea pool of 4.9 million. kr is also open, which supports development and demonstration projects with associated research that can contribute to a more environmentally friendly and energy-efficient production of oil and gas. In 2021, two application rounds for EUDP applied for a total of 2.1 billion. kr.
