Minister of Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard has elected new members and a new chairman to the board of the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP). The Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities informs in a press release.
Kim Lehmann has been appointed as the new chairman of the board. He takes over from former chairman Anne Grete Holmsgaard, who is leaving the board, as is Per Christensen.
As replacements, Therese Bording Hermann, who is Global Public Affairs Director at Haldor Topsøe, and Mette Fürstnow, who is Project Greensand Manager, are new to the board.
- I would like to welcome the new members of the board - and I look forward to you getting started with the work of supporting important energy technologies that can create Danish jobs, growth and reduce CO2 emissions. At the same time, I would also like to thank the members who are now giving up their place on the board and the work of pushing Denmark in the right direction for innovative energy technology, says Minister of Climate, Energy and Utilities Lars Aagaard (M).
Current members of the board in addition to the above are Kamma Eilschou Holm and Karin Klitgaard who will continue, while Tejs Laustsen Jensen and Brian Vad Mathiesen are being reappointed.
Since 2007, EUDP has supported more than 1,200 innovative projects with more than 6.2 billion DKK. EUDP supports the work of companies and universities to solve some of the energy technology challenges that society faces.
In recent years, the program has, among other things, supported projects within the development of wind turbine towers, capture and utilization of CO2 and Power-to-X.
EUDP's board members are appointed for a four-year period with the possibility of one re-election.
