There has been a lot of turmoil surrounding the energy trading company Energi Danmark, which in 2023 said goodbye to its CEO Jørgen Holm Westergaard and CFO Jesper Nybo Stenager.

The departure of both managers is probably due to a case regarding bonuses of almost one billion kroner that three employees had earned in the company. However, the case ended with a settlement that gave the employees 75 million kroner.

With that out of the way, Energi Danmark can look forward, and they are now doing so with the appointment of two new people to the company's management. Thus, Ole Joachim Jensen and Dorthe Rømer Frost will join Energi Danmark's Management Team and thus become part of the company's daily management, Energi Danmark announced in a statement.

Ole Joachim Jensen new CFO. He has served as interim CFO since December 2023 and has also been part of Energi Danmark's Management Team in that role. That role will now be permanent.

Dorthe Rømer Frost, on the other hand, is new to Energi Danmark and comes from a position as Head of Marketing & Communication in Global Connect. She is employed in a newly created position as Senior Vice President with responsibility for People Communications & ESG. Dorte Rømer Frost previously held a similar position at Ørsted for six years.

- I am pleased that we now have Ole and Dorthe in Energi Danmark's management, where they will be part of a strong and competent team that is fully focused on Energi Danmark's future development. We have customers throughout the Nordic region and trading activities throughout Europe, which contribute to both green transition and security of supply in the European energy markets, says Louise Hahn, who took office as CEO of Energi Danmark in August.
