Cadeler's service concept Nexra has secured Cadeler a permanent contract for the operation and maintenance of two offshore wind farms in Taiwan with an undisclosed customer. The contract has an expected value of over 20 million euros and will be implemented from March 2026 over a period of three to four months. The work will be carried out with the installation vessel Wind Maker, Cadeler said.

Nexra was established in 2025 as Cadeler's dedicated service concept for the operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms. O&M activities accounted for around a fifth of Cadeler's total revenue in 2025, which according to the company reflects the growing importance of the aftermarket as more and larger offshore wind turbines are put into operation globally.

- This contract underlines Nexra's strength in execution and flexibility to respond quickly to customer needs in the operational phase of offshore wind farms. By securing imminent campaigns like this, Nexra demonstrates its ability to create high utilization across Cadeler's fleet, while continuing to deliver the reliability and technical expertise that our customers expect, says Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Cadeler.

With the new O&M campaign in Taiwan, Cadeler is also expanding its activities in the Asia-Pacific region, where the company is increasingly performing service tasks during the operational phase of offshore wind projects.

- Being entrusted with O&M work in the Asia-Pacific region reflects the trust shown in our local teams and our assets. Nexra enables us to support our customers throughout the entire life of the projects – from installation to long-term operation and maintenance, including replacement of major components, says Mikkel Gleerup.
