Cadeler has taken delivery of its newest jack-up wind turbine installation vessel, Wind Maker. The vessel has been delivered on budget and will be the sixth in the company’s fleet. The wind shipping company announced in a press release.

Wind Maker is the first of two M-class wind installation vessels in Cadeler’s newbuild portfolio, both designed and equipped to install the next generation of offshore wind turbines currently being deployed globally. Its sister vessel, Wind Mover, is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The vessel is equipped with a 2,600 tonne main crane and is designed to operate in water depths of up to 65 metres. With DP2 capability, it enables fast, safe and energy-efficient positioning between installations.

- Today marks a significant milestone in our strategic fleet expansion and the successful culmination of years of planning and innovative engineering. Wind Maker is already contracted for deployment immediately after delivery, and both it and its sister ship have secured an exciting pipeline of wind turbine projects, says Cadeler CEO Mikkel Gleerup.
