With effect from 1 February 2023, Christina Borin has been appointed as the new CFO of Svanehøj Group, where she will join the Executive Board together with CEO Søren Kringelholt Nielsen. 43-year-old Christina Borin comes to Svanehøj from a position as Commercial Head of Onshore Operations at Siemens Gamesa, where she has worked since 2008, Svanehøj said in a statement.
- Christina Borin has a strong international profile and is used to working on a global level. This fits well with our organization, where half of the employees work outside Denmark, and the majority of customers are international players. She has experience in many of the areas in which we already operate. At the same time, she has a different perspective on business development than I do, which is important for our strategy and the cooperation in the Executive Board, says CEO Søren Kringelholt Nielsen.
The new CFO comes to a company in rapid development. In recent years, Svanehøj has positioned itself as a leading supplier of pumps, measuring equipment and services for the marine industry's green transition. Revenue and order backlog are higher than ever, and at group level the organization has grown to over 400 employees.
- Svanehøj is a workplace with a good reputation. It is a company with attractive products, an exciting background and a clear vision of where they want to go - both as a business and in terms of ESG. This is where I will contribute with my international experience and help equip the company for future growth, says Christina Borin.
