FREDERIKSHAVN: Trust is completely gone, and everyone is under suspicion. This is reported by Nordjyske in a case where Frederikshavn Municipality's municipal director, Thomas Eriksen, has filed a police report due to suspicion of a leak of confidential documents from a closed city council meeting. According to Nordjyske's information, the meeting was about Frederikshavn Port.
The municipal director became aware of the possible leak when the municipality received a request for access to information about the case. The request was worded in a way that revealed that the sender had knowledge of - and had seen - the confidential annex in the case. Thomas Eriksen says that it is suspected that the leak came from a city council member or an employee in the administration.
- We have no doubt that there must have been a source who sent the annex or information from the annex out of the house, and therefore this is a breach of confidentiality, he says.
