The prices of gasoline and diesel have taken another plunge and are now at their lowest level in 2025. Over the past month, prices have fallen by almost one krone per liter, according to the daily list prices, which are set based on the international oil market. According to the energy company OK's website, the price of gasoline has fallen by 40 øre per liter since March 1. This means that the list price for gasoline is now DKK 14.69 per liter, while diesel costs DKK 14.39 per liter. This is reported by TV 2.

The analyst points to the trade war, which US President Donald Trump has initiated, as one of the main reasons for the price drop. It has sent shockwaves through financial markets and created fears about global economic growth, which is affecting demand for oil. At the same time, OPEC+ countries agreed earlier this month to increase oil production from April. However, the coalition has announced that the decision may be overturned if it leads to an imbalance in the market.
