ODSHERRED: The law firm Bech-Bruun is wearing far too many hats in the district heating scandal in Odsherred. This is according to the association Fair Fjernvarme Odsherred, which represents around 1,300 district heating customers who are set to see their heating bills increase by an average of 70 percent from June 1. Now the association has complained about Bech-Bruun to the Danish Bar Association, writes DR.
Bech-Bruun's lawyer Anders Hoffmann Kønigsfeldt is both a reconstructionist recommended by Kommunekredit, is conducting a legal investigation for Odsherred Municipality, and until a few days ago was legal advisor to Odsherred Municipality - and has been responsible for a summons from the former top management of Odsherred Forsyning.
- We think there are a lot of hats at the same time, and that is why we have asked the Danish Bar Association to look into whether this is the correct thing to do in this case, says Nikolaj Juhl Hansen, who has complained to the Danish Bar Association on behalf of Fair Fjernvarme Odsherred.
