Vestas receives new order in South Korea

Vestas has signed a new agreement in South Korea, where Kolon Global Corporation has ordered wind turbines for the Uljin Giseong Wind Power Project. The order is part of Vestas' order intake for the first quarter and has a total capacity of 31 MW. Vestas announced this in a statement.

The order includes five V162-6.2 MW turbines and a 20-year AOM5000 service agreement. Delivery of the turbines is planned for 2026, while commissioning is expected to take place in 2027.

The project is located in the Uljin Giseong region and is part of Vestas' activities in the Vestas Asia Pacific region.
