Andel and F.C. Copenhagen are now launching the Hall of Femme initiative, which will pay tribute to and highlight the country's 55,874 female footballers. The initiative stems from the parties' partnership from February 2025 and aims to inspire more young girls to pursue their football dreams. Andel states this in a press release.

The background is that many girls stop playing football in their teens. According to the parties, this is due, among other things, to a lack of visible role models and practical challenges that make it more difficult to continue in the sport.

- Many girls leave football when they reach their teens. Not because they lack talent or will, but because they have fewer visible role models and many practical challenges that hinder them. It is important that they feel that their football dreams can come true - and we are now doing something about that, says Rikke Trikker, HR and Communications Director and Senior Vice President at Andel.

As part of the initiative, female football players can be inducted into the Hall of Femme. Among the participants, there will be a draw to be portrayed on banners in the Park, where they will represent a generation of young football players.

In addition, an annual Hall of Femme grant of DKK 20,000 will be established, which will be awarded to two players aged 14–19. The funds can be used for, among other things, transportation, equipment or compensation for lost income from a part-time job.

The initiative also involves players and coaches from F.C. Copenhagen's women's team visiting clubs to hold training sessions and share experiences about the path towards a possible professional football career. The initiative was launched on March 8th, International Women's Day.
