The 46-year-old cand.jur. Christian Hesthaven will replace Christian Lützen as director of the Boards' House. This is announced by the Ministry of Business and Industry.

Christian Hesthaven has management experience from his previous position as head of department at the Ministry of Immigration and Integration and his current position as municipal director in Rebild Municipality.

- I am very pleased that Christian Hesthaven has agreed to take up the position as director of the Boards' House. With his many years of management experience and competent legal background, I am convinced that he is the right person to continue the board's important work of ensuring the right decisions at the right time for citizens, companies and authorities, says Morten Bødskov about the appointment.

The Boards' House is part of the Ministry of Business and Industry and is responsible for serving a number of independent complaints and appeal boards, including: The Danish Public Procurement Complaints Board and the Danish Planning Complaints Board.

- I am very much looking forward to taking up the position as Executive Director of the Danish House of Boards and to working for the best possible service of the independent Danish complaints system for the benefit of citizens, businesses and authorities, says Christian Hesthaven.

The new director will take up the position no later than June 1, 2023.
