Mind Energy ended 2025 with a pre-tax profit of DKK 273 million, compared to DKK 376 million the year before. At the same time, net revenue increased to DKK 95.6 billion from DKK 76.6 billion, while gross profit grew to DKK 824 million from DKK 807 million. This is stated in Mind Energy's annual report.

- The result is supported by good trends in both our business areas. Both in our customer-oriented business, where we help producers get their energy onto the market and Nordic companies buy energy, and in the part of our business where we trade for our own capital and at our own risk, we are landing sensibly, says Louise Hahn, CEO of Mind Energy.

The revenue growth comes at the same time as increased activity in both the customer and trading business, while earnings were pressured by changed market conditions in the energy sector. The company states, among other things, that the implementation of a new Nordic balancing system for the electricity market negatively affected earnings by more than DKK 100 million.

At the same time, lower interest rates hit the company's financial items. Financial income fell to DKK 120 million in 2025 from DKK 216 million the previous year, while financial expenses increased to DKK 32 million from DKK 13 million.

- Despite these general challenges, Mind Energy has succeeded in increasing our gross profit from DKK 807 million the previous year to DKK 824 million in 2025. Given the market conditions, this is very satisfactory, says Louise Hahn.

Mind Energy also strengthened its capital base during the year. Equity increased to DKK 9.1 billion from DKK 8.8 billion, while the solvency ratio grew to 70.7 percent from 64.6 percent. the previous year.

New name and billion-dollar dividend

The company also proposes to pay out 1.5 billion DKK in dividend to the owners. Mind Energy is owned by the energy companies Andel and NRGi.

During 2025, the company consolidated its activities in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland under the name Mind Energy after previously operating as Energi Danmark. Mind Energy states that the company now balances 8.1 percent of the total Nordic electricity consumption.

- We have implemented a number of changes to the company during 2025. In addition to the consolidation across the four Nordic countries and a new common name, we have focused on increased professionalization and begun simplifying our business. This means that we are now better equipped for the future, says Louise Hahn.

For 2026, Mind Energy expects a profit before tax of between 100 and 300 million DKK. According to the company, the broad expectation is due to, among other things, continued costs for the new balancing system and uncertainty in the energy markets due to developments in the Middle East.
