Minister travels to China after Davos cancellation

Minister of Business and Industry Morten Bødskov (S) is traveling to China to focus on opportunities and challenges for Danish business, the Ministry of Business and Industry informs. Bødskov will visit, among others, the Deputy Minister of Transport responsible for maritime issues and the Minister of Industry and Information Technology in Beijing and Shanghai.

The visit will take place with a Danish business delegation from, among others, Mærsk, Ambu and Leo Pharma. The minister highlights green shipping and life science as areas where Denmark can match China's ambitions.

Danish exports of goods to China increased by over 18 percent from January to November 2025 to 49 billion kroner.
