AURA has adopted a new shareholder strategy after almost three quarters of a year of work, during which the group's board of representatives together with the board of directors have discussed and prioritized the content. The strategy was adopted on Thursday evening with unanimous support from the board of representatives. The East Jutland energy and fiber group announced this in a press release.
The strategy has been prepared through workshops, theme days, seminars and several board of representatives meetings and is intended to set a long-term direction for the group and serve as a dialogue tool between the board of representatives, the board of directors and the management. It is also intended to clarify AURA's democratic model as a cooperative and ensure alignment of expectations between ownership and management.
- It has been an exciting and educational process, in which the board of representatives has been engaged, and this gives strong ownership to the strategy, says Lars Broni, chairman of the board of directors of AURA.
In the strategy, AURA has set promises to three stakeholder groups: society, the cooperative members and the customers. The promises are to define the long-term value creation and form the basis for the further strategic work in the group.
The shareholder strategy will now be the starting point for the work on a new group strategy for the next four years and underlying business strategies, which are planned to be completed during 2026.
