Kamstrup, which develops and manufactures measuring equipment for measuring energy consumption in the form of electricity, water and heat, has found its new frontman in the form of Søren Kvorning, who will take up his position as CEO on March 15. The company announced this in a press release.
Søren Kvorning comes from a position as CEO at Enabl, a Danish supplier of automatic solutions and engineering services for the wind industry. Søren Kvorning also has 14 years of experience from various management positions at Danfoss.
It is a huge opportunity. And even though it means that I have to say goodbye to Enabl sooner than I had thought, Kamstrup is such an exciting company that I couldn't say no," says Søren Kvorning.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kamstrup Michael Løve is pleased that it has been possible to find a strong profile like Søren Kvorning to lead the company.
- Kamstrup stands on a solid foundation and will also come out of 2023 strong. This is a good starting point ahead of the next strategy period, where there are great growth ambitions. I am sure that Søren (Kvorning, ed.) with his strong international experience is the right person to realize the ambitions, and I am very much looking forward to the collaboration," says Michael Løve, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kamstrup and CEO of OK a.m.b.a., which owns Kamstrup.
Søren Kvorning replaces Kim Lehmann as CEO. Lehmann left Kamstrup in June last year, as a result of the board wanting "a new profile to lead through a new next strategy period, where there are ambitions to create significant growth".
Since June, CFO of Kamstrup, Henrik Rom, has been acting CEO, a role he will continue in until March 15, after which he will resume his role as CFO.
