There is a broad Danish collaboration at the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm. Here, Deme Offshore, in collaboration with the Danish Cadeler, has installed foundation no. 100 on the upcoming Ørsted offshore wind farm, which consists, among other things, of transition pieces from Danish Bladt Industries.
However, the rest of the monopile foundations have been constructed by German EEW Group, which also supplied the foundations for Kriegers Flak, while Siemens Gamesa offshore wind turbines will be installed on top of the foundations.
Ørsted and Deme Offshore started the installation of the offshore wind turbines back in May at Hornsea Two, which will be the world's largest offshore wind farm when the wind farm goes into operation next year. During the installation of the wind farm, Ørsted also completed offshore wind turbine no. 1,000 in the UK.
