The Danish shipping company Cadeler A/S has secured a supplier agreement in collaboration with an as yet undisclosed customer for the transport and installation of offshore wind turbines. The contract is worth over 45 million euros (335 million kroner), Cadeler said in a press release.
- This agreement further contributes to our already strong pipeline of projects waiting to be executed in the near future. This is also proof that our strategy to upgrade our current fleet has been right, as it strengthens our ability to bid for larger assignments and install the next generation of large wind turbines for our customers and partners, says Mikkel Gleerup, CEO of Cadeler.
These will be two of Cadeler's O-class installation vessels, which at the time of execution will have new main cranes installed, which will solve the task for Cadeler on the unnamed project.
