- We have stopped the spill and are currently working on a proposal to remove 2,500 liters of hydraulic and diesel oil, writes the emergency services at 9:10 p.m.
The emergency services went to the scene after reports of an overturned crane and possible flames from the crane, it continues. Shortly after arriving, the emergency services determined that there was no fire at the scene.
The Central and West Jutland Police informed Nordjyske on Friday morning that the crane driver was taken to the hospital for a check-up because he had gotten diesel oil in his eyes, but that there were no immediate further injuries.
It is still unclear why the crane overturned. The crane is from the crane company BMS and overturned while a blade was being hoisted into a wind turbine.
- It will be investigated further today, and the Danish Working Environment Authority will also go out and look at it, said duty officer Andreas Andersen on Friday morning to Nordjyske.
The situation is that a 200-ton, 190-meter-high crane has overturned.
