The energy company Better Energy, which develops solar parks, is currently going through a turbulent period. In December, the company had to file for reconstruction, and earlier in February, the Maritime and Commercial Court approved the group's reconstruction plan, which aims to "ensure the company's future operations and financial stability, by its creditors."
The reconstruction will now also have an impact on former Tax Minister Thor Möger Pedersen, who has been COO of the company since December 2022, where he joined from a position at the consulting company Cowi. Thor Möger Pedersen himself states this in a post on his LinkedIn profile.
- This mutual decision to part ways comes as a result of the ongoing restructuring at Better Energy, which has led to significant changes in the future direction of the company and thus also my role, writes Thor Möger Pedersen himself about his resignation from Better Energy.
The former minister does not have a new job in hand.
"Now I look forward to the next chapter in my career and will take time to explore new challenges and opportunities," he writes further in the post, where he encourages people to reach out to him.
