Better Energy has obtained approval for a postponement of the restructuring plan and is continuing to work towards a comprehensive solution for the group. Better Energy writes in a press release.
- A successful restructuring involves, among other things, a structured capital raising and other measures that will stabilize the company, maintain its value creation and support future opportunities for sustainable operations, says CEO Rasmus Lildholdt Kjær, who is CEO of Better Energy.
Better Energy states that more than 90 percent of the creditors have agreed to the postponement of the restructuring plan, which was approved at the bankruptcy court meeting on January 16, 2025. No objections were raised to the postponement, and the next bankruptcy court meeting is expected to take place on February 7, 2025.

In the coming weeks, the company will focus on structured capital raising and conduct confidential and focused dialogues with selected investors and potential buyers. These dialogues should contribute to creating a comprehensive and sustainable solution for the group.
- Based on the interest and the offers we have already received, we assess that it makes sense to continue working with the outlined solution models, says Rasmus Lildholdt Kjær.
As part of the reconstruction work, Better Energy has dismissed around 30 employees in January. The company expresses recognition of the significant efforts of the affected employees and wishes them good luck in the future.

Better Energy will issue status updates every two weeks until February 7, 2025. The next update is expected in week 6.
