On Monday, it emerged that the energy and telecommunications group Norlys' CEO for the past 15 years, Niels Duedahl, left the company to become CEO of Danish Crown on September 2.
It was not immediately clear that Duedahl was leaving, and according to the main character himself, there were only a few companies that could lure him away from Norlys. He tells Finans.
- I am very interested in agriculture and I run a kind of plant breeding business near Vejle. So it is not a foreign sector to me. After 15 years of creating Norlys, there were only two companies that could pull me away - namely Arla Foods and Danish Crown. Now the opportunity for this task came, which is so exciting that I can't say no. I'm so ready," says Niels Duedahl.
Long-time CFO of Norlys Gert Vinther Jørgensen takes over as CEO of Norlys after Niels Duedahl.
