In its annual accounts for 2024, Green Electricity Supply has presented a profit of 5 million DKK compared to 300,000 DKK the year before. This is what Green Electricity Supply wrote.
- We have started to get the momentum we hoped for when we established Green Electricity Supply at the time, says Helal Jan, CEO of Green Electricity Supply.
According to Jan, the company has been successful in offering transparent and competitive products that make it easy for consumers to understand their electricity bill. A key product is electricity without a subscription, surcharge or additional costs, where customers only pay for the electricity itself.
- We have created some highly competitive products that are easy for customers to understand, and we have gradually established a finely tuned sales organization that is good at following up on consumers who want to be our customers, he says.
Grøn Elforsyning is also expanding its business into new areas. The company has a growing gas business and is increasingly installing charging stations for electric cars.
However, the growth has not come without bumps. Earlier this year, the company had to pay a fine of DKK 700,000 to the Consumer Ombudsman for errors in connection with 27 calls to potential customers. Grøn Elforsyning disagrees with the decision, but chose to pay to end the case.
- Mistakes happen when building a business. But what defines us as a workplace and a company is how we handle it when we have made a mistake, says Helal Jan.
Grøn Elforsyning has its head office in Fredericia and employs a good 40 employees.
