The refund rules for taxes are putting a strain on Danes who have both solar cells and electric cars. That is why TEKNIQ is positive that the Minister of Taxation is now promising concrete proposals for a solution. This is what TEKNIQ writes in a press release.
- The refund rules are already putting a strain on many Danes' green transition. That is why it is absolutely crucial to get the solution started as soon as possible. Right now, the rules are punishing homeowners who have done the right thing, namely invested in green solutions. Installers are being sent out to disconnect solar cell systems, which is crazy for the individual and for the sustainable transition of society, says sustainability manager at TEKNIQ Troels Hartung, who organizes companies in the technical business community.
He points out that there is no time to wait several years to get systems and meters in place.
- We therefore suggest that you make use of the tax exemption that you know from heat pumps here and now. It means that homeowners with a heat pump in practice do not pay taxes on consumption above 4000 kWh per year. It is a model that is well-known and that should be implemented now and then.
At the same time, TEKNIQ supports the Minister of Taxation's proposal for sub-meters, but the organization does not believe that the solution is ready for implementation yet.
- It is a good solution in the long term, as it can make, for example, electric cars and heat pumps active parts of the energy system. But it is a model that is not quite ready to be rolled out now and then.
