South and South Jutland Police inform DR that the police have received a report about drones at Danish oil fields, and that the matter is now being investigated.
According to DR, several ships from the shipping company Esvagt in Esbjerg have observed drones over the North Sea on Wednesday evening.
- Last night, several of our ships observed something they suspect to be drones over the North Sea, says Esvagt's CEO, Kristian Ole Jacobsen, to DR.
- It looked like drones flying and shining in the sky, and there have also been indications on the ships' radars,« says the director.
There are a total of 21 oil and gas fields in the Danish part of the North Sea.
