The board of directors of BeGreen has appointed a new CEO and CFO, while the company's previous senior management is leaving their positions. The company, which develops solar parks, announced this in a press release.
Wojciech Cetnarski will become the new CEO. He comes from a position as CEO of the Polish renewable energy producer Wento and has 25 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. At the same time, Lars Troen Sørensen will take over the position of CFO. He has a background from Equinor and was previously CFO of Danske Commodities.
The previous CEO, Anders Dolmer, as well as senior partner and board member Jacob Simonsen and senior partner Lars Møller Salling are leaving their roles in BeGreen's senior management to pursue opportunities outside the company. The changes have come into effect with immediate effect.
- I would like to express my sincere thanks to the outgoing management for having built BeGreen from scratch to now be a leading Danish solar park developer with a strong track record and a professional organization. I wish them all the best in the future. I welcome the new CEO and the new CFO, who will now lead BeGreen into the next phase. The new CEO will soon assemble an expanded and strengthened management team that combines continuity and renewal.
Activities to be spun off into a new company
As part of the agreement with the outgoing management, parts of BeGreen's activities will be spun off and continue in a new company under the name Unity Power A/S, established by Bregentved, Anders Dolmer and Jacob Simonsen. This includes current and future service contracts for the operation and technical and commercial management of solar parks, which have historically been developed and sold by BeGreen, as well as the development of the ‘Banie 2 project’ in Poland.
- It has been a privilege to lead BeGreen for seven exciting years. I would like to thank everyone for the good cooperation and their strong commitment to the company, says outgoing CEO Anders Dolmer.
BeGreen is a Danish solar park developer that was founded in 2017 as part of the Bregentved Group. In November 2022, BeGreen became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equinor.
