Solar energy development company BeGreen, owned by Norway's Equinor, is now planning to expand its presence in the Polish market. The company announced this in a statement.

Specifically, the company will establish a new development team in Poland starting with the inauguration of an office in Warsaw from January 2024. For the new country office, BeGreen has also hired a new manager in the form of Robert Trzaskowski, who will lead the effort as Managing Director of BeGreen in Poland.

Robert Trzaskowski has ten years of experience in wind development, four years in cogeneration and waste to energy, two years in biomass and biogas and two years in PV development. He comes from a position as Country Manager in Poland for UNITe.

According to Anders Dolmer, CEO of BeGreen, Robert Trzaskowski's passion for solar and wind energy fits perfectly with BeGreen's commitment and ambitions within renewable energy, making the collaboration a perfect match.

- Having Robert join our company as Managing Director in Poland is a gift. He has a lot of experience from the renewable industry in Poland, and we are very privileged to be able to draw on his extensive experience and knowledge, says Anders Dolmer.

With an already significant pipeline of solar projects in Poland, BeGreen is well positioned to contribute significantly to the Polish energy landscape, believes Robert Trzaskowski.

- BeGreen has a unique approach to developing renewable energy projects, with a 360-degree sustainability concept at the core of their business, and I look forward to helping develop BeGreen's presence in the Polish market, he says.
